I took this photo just after a storm in my drive way in Umina Beach NSW Australia . i was trying to catch an image of lightening when some thing jumped on my foot . I looked down only to find this little guy The green tree frog.Time
This photo was taken around 12.30am just after the stormLighting
The lighting was done by the driveway lights this allowed enough light to take the image .Equipment
This was shot on a Nikkon Cool Pix 1/ 125 sec. f/5 83mm no flash iso 200 but was set to auto. nothing else was usedInspiration
I never set out to take a image of the frog . It was a case of right time and place , If it wasn't for the storm i would of not been outside.Editing
This photo is as i shot no process was doneIn my camera bag
The Nikkon coolpix 900 has a 83x zoom lens so I don't have to carry any other lens . the camera has a bit of weight to it that takes a bit to get use to . The only thing it doesn.t have is a raw function . So i have since upgraded to the Coolpix 1000 which does.Feedback
Late at night and early morning after storms is when most of the frogs come out to feed . so just because it is raining and might be cold doesn't mean you will not get some good shots . While shooting just keep in mind that sometimes you mighting get the image you are after but can get a better shot just by been in the right place at the right time .
