We received this potted tulips from my mother-in-law. I had just bought my macro lense and desperately wanted to try it out on something! And those flowers were begging for it!Time
I took this photo in the early morning hours. You can kinda tell because of how dark the photo turned out. I definitely used it to my advantage!Lighting
I remember it being a bit too cold for flowers outside, so we brought them in the night before. It was a rainy morning, and very overcast. It kind of looked good with the dark purple of the flowers.Equipment
I used a Canon rebel T7 EOS and vivitar 2.2x macro lenseInspiration
Really, I had just bought my new equipment and wanted to test it out on my camera. And who doesn't like flowers?Editing
I use an editing program from nch suite called photopad image editor. It's way easier to use than Photoshop or gimp. I only try to enhance my photos, not change them completely, and this program works well for that. Although, it does have some features to make your photos look wild!In my camera bag
I always have my normal lense that came with the camera, and the 75-300mm lense. Along with one of my many macro lenses. Sometimes my flower hood if it's really sunny.Feedback
A steady hand, and alot of patience. Snap alot of photos and see what you have. You might be surprised what you've ended up with!
