I took this one one the table-top equipment of my local photo-club where I‘m an active member.Time
I did this one late at night owing to the fact that preps took quite long. But since this was done with artificial lighting, timing was not an issue.Lighting
I just gave it as much light as possible, making it evenly lit so all details could be made out.Equipment
I used my Nikon Z6II with the 105mm f2,8 macro. All mounted on a sturdy tripod. Light came from the manyfold possibilities that the table-top set offers. Apart from these essentials I made use of quite some small items that I found in my surroundings like sewing thread, needles, sticky tape and so on.Inspiration
McDonalds commercials where the keep showing their burgers in a similar fashion. And this being a local/austrian snack, I wanted to present it in a similar fashion.Editing
As with most of my shots, a little post was to be done. Istamped out some threads that I used to hold the components in place and finally some adjustments in lights, saturation, details i.e.In my camera bag
Since I just recently changed to the Z generation, I thinned out my equipment a little, reducing it to my all time favourites which are 24-70, 70-200 and 105 mm macro, all f2,8. Then there‘s the 85mm f1,8, a FTZ converter, permanently attached to my „old“ 16mm Nikkor fisheye. I also own the 2x converter which I sometimes use with the 70-200mm. Then there‘s a SB910 flash and some other gizmos like pocket wizzards and Triggertrap and similar…Feedback
