At the top of the Cords-sur-Ciel village, I looked over a wall and saw this beautiful sight of a French house-compound at the curve in the road, on the bank of a tranquil stream, adjacent to a cultivated grove of trees planted in neat rows. On the road, there's a man walking with two women trailing behind him -- these village residents appear to be returning from Cordes-sur-Ciel where there are many shops and cafes
