Behind The Lens

Location

I actually took this photo at site I was working up in Park City, Kansas. I went outside for a break and it was sitting there.

Time

It was early morning in August.

Lighting

The lighting was actually perfect that day. The sun wasn't too high in the sky, but the sprinklers had recently turned off so more light reflected off the grass in the background.

Equipment

Surprisingly, I took this with my galaxy s11 phone. I don't usually use my phone for this, but it's all I had since I was at work.

Inspiration

I live close up shots of bugs, especially those with bright colors.

Editing

Usually I do, when I use my cameras. I touch them up by doing a little focus enhancing which brings out more detail. Wasn't able to do that for this one.

In my camera bag

I usually only have extra SD cards and a charger for the camera. I don't have extra lenses for the cameras I use.

Feedback

Just play with focusing on with small objects that aren't moving. Again, this one was with my phone so it does it all for me, but with cameras, getting a close up of someone small can be difficult without a macro lens.
