Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo at this beautiful park i discovered. I was having a mini Easter session on 3.25.18 with my little cousins. I'm self taught and still learning. So every new photo is a new lesson and new memories. ??

Time

This photo was taken mid morning. It was after her and her siblings ran circles in a field and they were "oh so tired". She attempted to make a "sleepy" pose.

Lighting

I have found that the best photos for me are the ones that are in between the poses. The unrehearsed or impromptu poses. I wasn't planning on capturing her youth, innocence or hope. But Everytime I see this picture I feel hopeful. It is one of my favorites.

Equipment

It was shot with a Nikon D3200 18-50mm lens. No other equipment involved.

Inspiration

I just told her to look at me. And then SHE inspired.

Editing

I did edit in Lightroom Classic by adding a preset.

In my camera bag

I'm an amateur so the only thing in my bag is my Nikon D3200, extra memory cards, cleaning kit, and extra battery. Oh and a telephoto lens. ????

Feedback

Think outside the box. And don't stop snapping! I am CONSTANTLY snapping even in between poses or walking to the next location. I never miss a moment.
