I saw the original of this on Facebook as a mural painted, by artist My Dog Sighs, on Northcote Lane. Cardiff, Wales, and decided to try and copy it in Photoshop with one of my photos. This is the second edit which I think is an improvement on the first one.

The photo was taken at a photo shoot on Ainsdale beach, UK. Arranged by my self and a good friend who is a make up artist. We had two models, one being the MUA's daughter whose eye was used for this image.Time
The original photo was taken at about 8pm around sunset.Lighting
I created this as a result of the Russian invasion of Ukraine because the people of Ukraine were in our thoughts all the time and still are.Equipment

I was inspired to create this image after seeing a wall art, painted by My Dog Sighs in Cardiff, Wales. I loved his image and decided to try and recreate it in Photoshop.Editing
Yes, the eye is taken from a portrait shot I did. I used Photoshop to select just the eye I then created two layers one for the blue and one for the yellow. I created another layer for the tear, after watching YouTube tutorials on how to do this. I then changed the eye colour from brown to blue and reddened the white of the eye and finally made an eye pencil line above the eye.In my camera bag

I hadn't originally planned to create this image. If I was to do it again I would take a close-up of an eye.
