This is a photo of Teddy, one of our cats that graced our lives for 18 years. She will never be forgotten.Time
I was pottering around the garden with Teddy inspecting the plants, when she suddenly got a burst of energy and scrambled up a tree growing next to the house, jumping out of the tree onto the roof and running to the top of the roof where she haughtily surveyed her surroundings. brilliant for a 16 yo cat my camera was on hand and I took a picture.Lighting
The shot was taken on the spur of the moment, so there was no time to consider any settings.Equipment
The camera I used was a Canon PowerShot SX30 IS.Inspiration
The spritely actions of the old cat inspired me to reach for my camera.Editing
No post processing was applied. In my camera bag
My Canon PowerShot camera was drowned in water from a leaking water bottle in a backpack and I replaced it with a Nikon D3500 with a 70-300mm and 18-55mm lenses.Feedback
Where possible, have your camera close at hand.
