I took a trip to Peru this was a grueling hike up to almost 16000 ft but well worth it. I’m an amateur self taught photographer that loves shooting landscapes.Time
This hike took most the day to reach the summit. We arrived around 3pm the high elevation made the light even more intense.Lighting
There was some cloud cover behind me and a huge glacier, which helped with lighting because at such a high altitude the sun seemed to glow brighterEquipment
This shot I used the only camera I ever purchased and could afford, it was a cannon rebel 5, and a 18-55 mm lens no other equipment. Unfortunately it was stolen a couple weeks ago and now only have my iPhone to use. Until I can afford a new dslr.Inspiration
The terrain was very unique, I don’t think there is any other place like it. And wanted to show friends and familyEditing
I used Snapseed but didn’t have to do much just upped the saturation levels a bitIn my camera bag
I had a cannon eos rebel 5, a flash, 18-55 mm, cannon ef 100 mm f/2.8 macro, Cannon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III telephoto lens and a tripod. It was all stolen a couple weeks ago from my suitcase when I moved to NC. So now I can only go shoot with my iPhoneFeedback
If you’re into landscape photography take lots of trips even if it’s a few hours from home, there are tons of interesting and beautiful landscapes to see.
