I was standing on the beach between Kurrawa and Broadbeach looking towards Surfers Paradise at the beautiful Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia.Time
This shot was taken about 6:20am.Lighting
The natural lighting from the rising sun was all that was required.Equipment
The camera I used for this shot was a Nikon D5300 with a Nikon 18-300 f3.5 lens. The shot was hand held.Inspiration
I had been on the beach over an hour taking sunrise photos and time lapse videos when the sun started to shine on the buildings of Surfers Paradise. Then as the tide rolled out the amazing reflection appeared and it was one of those photographers moments in time.Editing
This photo got a small crop for balance but no other post-processing.In my camera bag
My bag at the time had the Nikon D5300 with my travel anywhere and everywhere lens the Nikon 18-300 f3.5. Also at the bottom of my camera backpack is a Manfrotto tripod, spare battery and memory cards.Feedback
