This is a self portrait I took for my photography class. I like this shot because the steeple of the fingers in the hand gesture doesn't show dominance, rather reflection. The silhouette is still detailed enough due to reflected flash to make significant detail and the background is what's in color showing a contrast of emphasis. The story I tried to tell with this one is the reflection on the American ideal, and any American I feel can agree with this thought in todays world.
