This photo was taken at the Runge Veterinary Clinic, Runge is a small south TEXAS town. Hocus is the main subject in this photo, she is one of three clinic cats that live at the Runge Veterinary Clinic. She is somewhat of the clinic mascot. Her mischievous and curious personality keep clients entertain while they wait to be seen. The clients love to watch her as much as she loves all the attention she receives while she runs around greeting clients and their pets.Time
This picture was taken at the end of the day as we were getting ready to close. Hocus loves caned food, and will sprint clear across the clinic as soon as she hears one one. What you can’t see is the big trash just below the counter that she sitting on. She saw a can of food being tossed into the trash and was waiting for an opportunity to jump in there to investigate it. She seat there on the counter and was patiently waiting till the coast was clear, I happened to walk by and couldn’t help but snap a shot of this mischievous little cat.Lighting
I used different leaves of exposure to help draw the eye to the main subject of the photo (Hocus). I decreased the exposure on the dark parts of her fur and increased the exposure of the back ground.Equipment
