This was somewhat by chance. The almost black and white sense you may get from looking at this photo had little to do with editing.

I went to a park for the sunrise. The sun never came so I looked for things I was not planning on looking for. Found this tree among many evergreens.

I found this beautiful bush in full bloom in my neighborhood. As I edited it, the light and dark contrast became more pronounce and I ran with it.
