This is Jeanne Mirabito and Kidnap Katie. Jeanne used to run one of the most unique equine rescues on the planet. She rescues thoroughbred broodmares that have been found in terrible situations... The mare pictured "katie bug" was rescued from a very dire situation in Kentucky. She loves people but was left in a field for almost a year entirely alone. When Katie came to Our Mims, she kept "checking in" with Jeanne with her nose and followed her around to keep an eye on her. Today Katie is Happy, Healthy, Sassy and has many friends at our mims!
