Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo while on a hiking trail near Millersburg, Ohio.

Time

It was a beautiful October afternoon.

Lighting

I noticed this spot when we began our hike, bit the sun was over the trees. I waited until the end of our hike when the sun had moved off to the side.

Equipment

This was shot using my Nikon d3500. No tripod or special lense was used.

Inspiration

I love photographing rural locations. This is near the heart of Amish country, so there was a stone run running behind the fence. Doesn't get more rural than that!

Editing

I tweaked the photo just a bit using photoshop mobile app to bring out the beauty of the fall colors.

In my camera bag

I typically carry my Nikon d3500 with its 55mm lense and also a 300mm lense. I'm just a hobby photographer, so I don't have a lot of fancy equipment.

Feedback

There is beauty in almost anything. Just watch the lighting and try many different angles.
