Location
I took this photograph in my house using household objects such as a mirror, light and crystal globe.Time
Due to the fact that the room had to be dark in order to for the light effect to work, I took this picture in the evening when it was slightly darker.Lighting
For this picture I had to use a long exposure setting in order to create the lighting effect. I set my camera up with a long exposure setting and proceeded to use different coloured flashlights around the crystal globe. The mirror added an additional effect reflecting the colours as well as the crystal globe.Equipment
For this shot I used by Canon Eos 4000D as well as my tripod and a flashlight. One other piece of equipment that I used was a mirror and crystal globe in order to create the reflections and light effect.Inspiration
I was inspired to take this picture after seeing something similar on Instagram. Due to the fact that I am still learning various photography techniques, I thought this would be a good chance to experiment with long exposure.Editing
For this picture, it did undergo minor editing in order to make the colours stand out more and also to make the photograph clear and crisp. In my camera bag
In my bag I normally carry my Canon Eos 4000D as well as my additional lenses filters. I also carry an additional flash to help me when taking photographs. If going travelling I will also pack my tripod with me to get more stable photographs.Feedback
One piece of advice if trying to capture something similar would be to not be afraid to play around with exposure. When taking this picture I had to adjust the exposure multiple times to get it correct.
