I love sunrise images as it heralds the beautiful arrival of a new day with new opportunities. I have recently been enjoying visiting Hastings and really wanted to catch a good shot of the pier.Editing
Yes, I cloned out some of the footprints on the beach and brightened this area with a graduated filter. I also slightly increased the temperature on the beach and in the sky.In my camera bag

Scout the composition before the sunrise so the shot is ready before it needs to be taken. I have sometimes been rushed as I didn’t scout properly before a shot.
