I took this photo in Dead Horse Ranch State Park in Cottonwood, Arizona. This Goodding Willow hangs over the Verde River. I have since taken several photos of the beautiful tree during different seasons. This one, with all its Autumn splendor casting its reflection upon the clouded river as if looking into a mirror, it's my favorite.Time
This photo was taken in the morning hours when the birds are chirping and frolicking about. The sun is still low and the streets still quiet.Lighting
The light was low. Almost gloomy. The sky above was overcast and just the right amount of sun shined through the trees onto the water. I prefer low light and a bit of darkness for contrast. I saw how I wanted to frame it and it worked.Equipment
I used my Samsung Galaxy S21Inspiration
I could not pass up such a magnificent site. The colors, the reflections. The lighting.Editing
I did not alter this photo. I didn't feel that it was necessary. In my camera bag
At this time, I'm currently just using my phone. I try to keep the screen which is not always easy.Feedback
I was taught to frame a photo. What do you see? How does it make you feel? Take several shots from different heights or angles. There are, on those rare occasions, can only be seen through the eyes. Cherish them.
