Behind The Lens
Location
This was taken on an improvised session, using natural light.Time
Early morning sun entering the window sideways was the perfect light to capture the textures of water on her skin.Lighting
The window had a diffusion patter that made the light explode on the water droplets and created beautiful volumes on her body.Equipment
This is part of an "exploration exercise" that wants to prove to myself that regardless of the equipment, controlling light and composition can create beautiful images. Therefore I shot this with the camera that is always with me: my phone: Iphone 8 Aperture f/1.8?ISO 20?Shutter 1/131?Focal Length 3.99/1?Inspiration
This was one of the visions that just strikes you she was taking a shower, the light hit her body in such a perfect way, and the shapes, the trails of water and the textures, the combination of all of it inspired the capture.Editing
The images was taken in black and white, and some minor developing was done to the image: sharpening, contrast and exposure adjustments to bring the blacks down and soften the grays. In my camera bag
Depending on the project, I have a combination of Sony and Canon cameras. For the last couple of years I have been shooting more with Sony, As for lenses, I am an 85mm guy, however on the pandemic I started liking the 35mm and the 21mm I have a couple of sigma art lenses for this focal lengths and I love them, I am also a fan of the Canon L series glass, and I use a lot of old mechanical lenses from the 50`s, 60`s and 70`s. And of course, I always have my iphone in my pocket.Feedback
You can either produce this kind of images, o if you get the chance to simple capture it while it´s happening, I guess there is a feeling that gets conveyed when you snap away a moment in time.
