Location
In a river, on Foz do Iguaçu, Paraná - Brazil.Time
I don't remenber exactly the hour, but maybe 03h or 04h pm.Lighting
The natural sun light, with so many clouds on the sky and trees around the river, make a perfect soft light in the face of the model. Just my body shadow on the model was a hard thing to try hide.Equipment
I use a Canon Rebel T6 and my 35mm lens Yongnuo. Just that.Inspiration
I really wanted something like the painting "Ophelia" by Sir John Everett Millais. I mix this inspiration with the feeling of the model's personality.Editing
In the post-processing of my photos, I don't like so excessive cleaning of the skin and eyes, hair or other stuff. I aways focus on the colors, and in this case I make the river full black and white, make the saturation of the model less than the original and finally, make the whites less bright. In my camera bag
I don't have much equipment, In Brazil cameras and lens are so expansive. I only have my Canon T6 or a Canon T6i, my favorite len 35mm Yongnuo, and my tripod.Feedback
The sunlight it's so dificult to control in rivers, because have so many trees and the clouds change fast. The best option to make a good shot, its stay in the position and wait the perfect soft light. Make some shots, wait 5 minutes, take more shots, repeat until you have the result you want.
