The fall colors were spectacular this year. This was shot about 4:00 in the afternoon, and the sun was to my left hidden in the trees. A few feet further and the light would be ruined. A few feet earlier, and the composition would be ruined. As I drive this road often, some considerable thought went into how I wanted it to look.
