Location
This photo was taken during the pandemic when being outside was 'literally' a breath of fresh air. Westlake Village is a friendly community. This manmade, 8-mile shoreline was completed in 1961. Community members can rent the 'Friendship' boat as a means to encourage unity and build lifelong bonds.Time

I wanted to encompass the 'putting-to-bed' of the lake and the calm feeling one has after thanking the waters for rejuvenating the mind. The sunset is like a warm blanket that safely covers you before you close your eyes.Equipment
Ironically, I used an IPhone Pr Max. Who knew an iPhone could take such amazing shots. I did increase the highlights a little bit to give the sunset a deeper orange.Inspiration
Actually, the girlfriends that I was sailing with that day inspired me. I am always snapping photos and they nudged me to take the sunset. It's truly amazing what love can do.Editing

You can't go wrong at the Golden Hour. Just make sure if your back is facing the sun that you use a flash or Lightroom to light the faces.
