📠Idless Woods, Truro ðŸÂ‚ðŸÂÂðŸÂ‚
As I wandered Idless Woods, looking to shoot autumn colour, I repeated three words in my head - "Subject, Light, Composition."
I walked for an hour without taking a single shot, until I spotted this partially fallen tree. It stood out against the neighbouring trees with its lean and dark colour. This would be my subject.
I positioned the tree centrally, with its slant drawing the eye diagonally through the frame.
The light here was ideal for woodland photography. It was close to the path (creating a gap in the canopy), so the sunlight bathed the scene in diffused light through a cloudy sky.
