Behind The Lens

Location

Photo was taken from the circle at the end of Riverwalk Place in West New York, New Jersey.

Time

I was looking for good vantage point to view Manhattan skyline late in the afternoon.

Lighting

Lighting was somewhat ideal as the setting sun appears behind me in the west but the overcast sky and pillars added some mystique to the scene.

Equipment

I used a monopod to stabilize my Sony DSC-RX100 M7 camera.

Inspiration

I often take short excursions to look for scenes which have some interesting feature.

Editing

The jpeg file was cropped and adjusted for lighting and sharpness.

In my camera bag

Normally I keep a monopod handy and sometimes a gimbal which may be overkill for a "point and shoot" camera.

Feedback

Keep an eye for objects or scenes which appear out of the ordinary.
