Iceland's Reynisfjara Beach boasts arguably the most dramatic stretch of black sand beach in the world. Tourists flock to the beach to witness the drama of sand and surf on Iceland's southern coast. The North Atlantic pounds the coast, pulverizing volcanic rock to produce the region's iconic black sand. This stretch of sand and surf quickly became one of my favorite beach locations.
