My sister was struggling with being a front line Respiratory Therapist during COVID. I went to visit her to support her and while I was in FL, I saw this blossom and had to stop to take a picture. Even when things are hard, taking a second to look around you to see all of nature's beauty can remind you how much light there always is around us.Time
This was taken mid afternoon.Lighting
I added a bit of vignette to help highlight the bright colors.Equipment
This was just shoot on my OnePlus cell phone.Inspiration
It was supposed to be a quick check in with my sister, but the week ended up being incredibly difficult personally and professionally. I needed to step out and enjoy the nature around me & loved these flowers when I saw them. They were so bright and beautiful.Editing
I adjusted the color and shadows using my Photo editor. I try to only briefly edit. If it takes more than a few minutes you're over working it.In my camera bag
Usually my cell or my Cannon Rebel.Feedback
Just look for the things that capture your eye or make you stop and go OHHH. The more you do that, the better you get with experience.
