Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken out at my friend's farm while we were target shooting.

Time

I took this photo around 2 pm when we went exploring the farm.

Lighting

This is the front of a Dodge "wheat" truck that my friend used to drive to deliver wheat to the miller's. His father and grandfather also drove this truck.

Equipment

I just used my Nikon camera and my 58mm lens.

Inspiration

I was inspired to take the photo because it was a special memory for my friend. I also just loved the way it was positioned and the nostalgic feel it gave off.

Editing

The only post-processing that was done was to crop out the unwanted brush and barn.

In my camera bag

I always have my Nikon camera and various lenses with me. I also have filter plates I use sometimes.

Feedback

This composition just felt right to me. I took pictures at several angles and heights. For me it was a trial and error type thing. If I had it to do again I'd go in early morning so the light can be on it better.
