Behind The Lens
Location
I was grouse an mushroom hunting with a friend in Quebec, Canada. We founds a lot of Boletus that are really good to eat.Time
It was late afternoon, a fall sunny day.Lighting
The light was very nice trough the dense forest. Rays comming through the trees, huge water reservoir for hydroelectricity just after the picture background.Equipment
I got the sigma lens out, 16mm F1.4 to blurr the background and get more light in. Its one of the last shot taken with my old olympus Om-D Em10, it died the next day RIP.Inspiration
It was such a perfect day, lot of walking and beauty. When I saw this scene, i layed on the moss and took a shot, and as usual in the exitement, lost my lens cover...Editing
Almost none, straight out of the camera. When I shoot RAW, I use Adobe Elements, but most of the time I only adjust exposition and white ballence. In my camera bag
I had a Olympus Om-D em10, that I bought used to learn. I enjoy MFT system because I do a lot of activities like hicking, hunting, fishing and I like the portability. I keep with me the tamron 14-150 F3.5, sigma 16mm F1.4 and a 7artisan Fisheye. Sometime, I carry a manfrotto tripod, but, like I said, I like to keep things lite.Feedback
When you see a nice subject, sometime change your composition, lay on the ground and take the time to find something original!
