I took this photo of a bush near my house, right next door in fact. I took like 10 photos of just this bush but I ended up liking the first one, which is this one, the best.Time
It was early evening so there was plenty of light. I had been hoping to maybe get the sun behind it but it was too early for that and there were some trees blocking it.Lighting
I took the picture a little bit earlier in the day than I had been hoping but it turned out really well. There was no harsh light in the photo which is the opposite of what I had planned forEquipment
I took this photo with a Nikon D3500, and a 18-55mm f/5.6 lens.Inspiration
I have really been into macro recently and had been looking at this particular bush for a few days. I was really happy with how it had turned out.Editing
Not much. I just made it a little brighter and sharpened it a bit.In my camera bag
My camera, obviously, as well as a zoom lens, wide angle lens, high resolution lens, and some add-ons to the lenses to help with glare, UV, and fluorescent light.Feedback
Always take more than one photo even if you are happy with the first one. You may be able to get a really good one and even if you don't it is more practice. Play around with the lighting. It really changes the mood of the photo.
