This was taken in my Home, in Bronson, KS I saw the sun light streaming in on my grandson sleeping on his mothers chest and just had to take the shot. It turned out to be a one in a million photo, of life as it should be. Peaceful calm and beautiful moment with nature adding it's touch of light.Time
It was 1pm in afternoon, the sun was shinning just right through my Bay window, as the baby slept on his mother I looked up saw how the picture could be and just grabbed my camera this was the very first photo in batch I took and it was quite inspiring.Lighting
I wanted to capture the sun shining just right on the baby like a blessing from nature and it worked. it gave that soft yet glowing look to the sweet and innocent.Equipment
I used my digital Cannon camera, with extended lense for that close up look.Inspiration
I was inspired by the peaceful look on my grandsons face as he lay sleeping so naturally on his mother's chest with the sun shinning in on him giving him that peaceful natural look. It was just to tempting of a shot so I took it, when inspiration comes on I go for it and the rewards are amazing.Editing
no I didn't do any post-processing was spur of moment inspiration just looked up and new had to have that picture.In my camera bag
I have my cannon camera tripod and my lextra lenses along with a telescope I always carry with me because sometimes the sky just as much as the earth around you inspires.Feedback
When you are in the moment and you just know the photo needs taken don't rush or force it just snap away at different angles that feel right to you alway when the sun is shining on your subject take an angle or side shot it gives you more advantage over capturing the light instead of a straight on shot that could cause blurring block some of the light or simply make you miss the moment.
