I work at a small nursery in north Idaho. I help with their social media so I am constantly taking pictures of all the plants.Time
It was in the late evening around 6pm in June. I believe golden hour is the correct term!Lighting
It was golden hour, the sun was behind me and if I remember correctly, it was hard to even see my screen because the sun was still pretty bright. I just slightly turned down the brightness to truly capture the color of the peony.Equipment

I see the beauty in almost everything, especially in nature. Everything about flowers is unique: the petals, the color, the softness-literally and figuratively. Really look at your plants and take a picture at different angles and you’ll be surprised at all the details in that one little frame.
