Behind The Lens

Location

This image was taken from my residence in Nebraska. I am self taught, amateur photographer. I continue to learn something new everyday.

Time

This image was taken towards the end of the day, November 5, 2019 at 7:05 PM.

Lighting

Not really. The living room area has can lighting and the lights were turned on when the image was taken.

Equipment

The image was taken with my iPhone 6s Plus back camera 4.15mm f/2.2 RGB

Inspiration

I had gotten my hair done and I had cut about 5/6 inches off. A friend wanted to see my new hair cut but I don’t care for traditional, non flattering “selfies” so I got creative. I wish I had an inspirational story behind this image. It all happened because I got a hair cut.

Editing

A black and white filter was applied to this image.

In my camera bag

None, at the moment. Hoping to have an equipment bag in the coming year.

Feedback

I had NO idea what I liked but I knew what I didn’t like, so I knew what to avoid. And by knowing what to avoid allowed me to tap into my creative side and I started experimenting; trying new angles, where my eyes should be looking etc.
