Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at Hop Brook State Park, in Connecticut.

Time

This was taken early afternoon.

Lighting

Natural light was used. It was a bright sunny day and we were searching for shaded area.

Equipment

I used Nikon d750 and Tamron 70-20mm f/2.8 G2 lens.

Inspiration

I was actually taking graduation photos of another girl and my daughter came along that day. She just looked perfect in that dress, so I snapped this quick shot.

Editing

Lightroom editing was used.

In my camera bag

My two Tamron G2 lenses, the 70-200 and 24-70, my Nikon D750 or my Nikon D850, a speedlight and two Magmod modifiers for my flash. Also, Nikon 50mm f/1.4.

Feedback

Just look for good light, beware of hot-spot where sun comes through Tree branches, keep it simple and natural.
