Behind The Lens

Location

I get this photo in Bara?eve caves they are near famous Plitvice lakes in central Croatia.

Time

This was in the middle of the day of course that didn't matter because I was underground. It was In a regular tour of the caves.

Lighting

I didn't use any additional lighting and flashguns are prohibited to use inside but there were plenty of lights inside the cave

Equipment

I use Canon R6 and EF16-35 f4L with a canon adapter and Manfrotto 055 tripod

Inspiration

I love the caves they are so inspirational when you see all the shapes and silhouettes what was done for thousands of years by tiny dips of water. Most of the time they are overcrowded in the tours but this one was a bit better. In the photo, u can see my wife and one woman from the tour and she was more than happy to pose for the photo. I was just so happy because of the opportunity!

Editing

Photo is exposure blended with +3-3 other than that some basic colour correction.

In my camera bag

My daytime equipment is canon R6 and 6D Canon 16-35 f4L, Canon EF 50 f1.4, Canon 70-200 f2.8L is2, Sigma 150-600 C, Cokin 10 stop nd, Neewer 6 stop nd, Lee 1.2 soft grad and cokin 100 filter holder and Manfrotto 055 tripod with Manfrotto ball head.

Feedback

Ask for a tour guide for the roles in the caves most of them will let you use your tripod to stay on the back of the tour and try to scout for interesting shapes. Most of the caves that I visited are one way so u are entering and exiting the cave on the same side so you will probably get a chance to film everything from another direction as well. And I will recommend some wide-angle lense, wider its better.
