It would be to continue denying the inevitable.
Deep breath. I find myself stirring coffee.

I still have a hard time accepting it. But I don't see any more exits.
I think it's time to stand up. Again.
It is time to continue. Now from the place that corresponds to me.
It is difficult to decide to overcome, when it is not what I would like.
It becomes difficult to raise the forehead, when the mind is cloudy. And even more so when the heart continues to seek to understand.
It is a constant struggle between reason and feeling.
And it is that I do not stop thinking about everything.
Everything that was. But much more in what will be.
Today I don't want to close my eyes.
Today I would love to just be able to hear your heartbeat one more time.
But not everything in life is how we would like it to be.
Not everything goes the way we always want it.
I think today, I should just stay close so I can see you smile, one more time.

This image corresponds to a series made up of 17 more photographs. From start to finish, this small project was designed with natural light. Without any type of supporting or fill lights. Only with a correct direction of the light. What helps the viewer to feel in a natural, harmonic and subtle context. An atmosphere that can accompany the nostalgic story that accompanies this series.Equipment
The equipment used was only a Nikon D7200 camera. Accompanied by a Nikkor 135mm Pre Ai lens.Inspiration
This photograph is inspired by different worlds. Initially, the series was inspired by the thinking of Peter Lindbergh, about the use of black and white in portraiture. He said that the "absence of color helps the viewer to look inside people". One day before this photograph, in my city, a beloved writer and humorist dies. Who had recently written a monologue, on the scars of the soul. And it is from that moment, where the whole series made sense.Editing
The only retouching work done on this particular image was a slight skin correction and general luminosity.In my camera bag

sometimes we focus so much on the technical part and on the equipment, that our photography has a soul. It's beautiful to be able to focus on a concept, and work on it. Let's not forget that the mission of photography is to transmit. And if we don't have a message, or a story to tell ... our photographic team alone won't make a big difference.
