This photo was taken at beautiful Medicine Lake in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. I am a photographer that believes in adventures and capturing the moment. The two friends here both have a fun and bubbly energy that was hard not to miss.Time
This was taken just before a storm rolled in over the mountains in the summer towards the end of the day.Lighting
The storms that was rolling in in had a dramatic feel too it so we worked quickly to not lose the light that was gifted to us that day.Equipment

We knew about the boulders in this location and were just doing a friend shot. When we got there we took a few posed ones but the girls quickly started being playful and this captures the emotion of that evening to a T.Editing

Lighting was key and the models willingness to play around and have fun. Shoot a lot and keep shooting, check your lighting every once in awhile to see what it looks like and adjust when necessary. Guide the models while having fun yourself!
