Behind The Lens

Location
This photo was taken at beautiful Medicine Lake in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. I am a photographer that believes in adventures and capturing the moment. The two friends here both have a fun and bubbly energy that was hard not to miss.
Time
This was taken just before a storm rolled in over the mountains in the summer towards the end of the day.
Lighting
The storms that was rolling in in had a dramatic feel too it so we worked quickly to not lose the light that was gifted to us that day.
Equipment
Shot with a canon 6D mark ii no tripod an no flash all was natural light. I believe I used a 20o-400 mm sigma Zoom lens
Inspiration
We knew about e boulders in this location and were just doing a friend shot. When we got there we took a few posed ones but the girls quickly started being playful and this captures the emotion of that evening to a T.
Editing
There was no post processing done with this image.
In my camera bag
Canon 6D, 5o mm canon lens, canon 24-105 ultrasonic canon lens, canon 70-200 USM canon lens, tripod, flash and cleaning items for lenses.
Feedback
Lighting was key and the models willingness to play around and have fun. Shoot a lot and keep shooting, check your lighting every once in awhile to see what it looks like and adjust when necessary. Guide the models while having fun yourself!
