With a little more photo editing practice, I'm revisiting my Chernobyl archive of photos taken during my trip inside the exclusion zone in 2019. These are new pictures, freshly processed and not previously posted...
The ghost town of Pripyat - taken from the roof top of one of the tallest apartment blocks at sixteen storeys high.
Soon after the Chernobyl Power Plant disaster in 1986, all of Pripyat's 50,000 citizens were evacuated. More than thirty years have passed. Where there was once roads, trees now grow - and have almost reached the height of the nine storey apartment blocks.
