I am fascinated by seagulls and other ocean birds (which we don't have inner city), so when this one landed on the table and helped himself (herself?) to our food, I could not believe its chutzpah! My response was to capture the delightful vacation moment for posterity.Editing

Two elements are important for any candid photo: have your camera at the ready — and aim to frame. Otherwise, you could have color, clarity, and an interesting subject — but one that is regrettably off-center.
