Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken in Lipompo Province, Bochum, South Africa. I t was a traditional wedding of one of my wife's cousin

Time

The photo was taken in the morning around 10am as the Bride comes out of the house to be seen by many who were invited to the traditional wedding

Lighting

It was a very cloudy day, I tried using a natural light but that was not enough because I didn't want to use a high ISO, slow shutter was not option since there was lot of movement. I had to use an open aperture

Equipment

I used a Nikon D7000 with a 50mm lens ( Yongnuo YN 50mm f/1.8 )

Inspiration

I always watch YouTube to see what other photographers are doing, I consume lot of hours worth of YouTube photographer videos, so that helped me to able come with a short like this one

Editing

I use Adobe Lightroom on all my RAW image because I shoot RAW all the time, I did miner adjustment on the light( I reduced the brightness a bit and increased a saturation to make the color on her clothes to pop)

In my camera bag

I am still new in photographer, I started the beginning of 2020. I don't have expensive equipment's as yet. I always pack up my Nikon D7000, Nikon D90, Yongnuo YN 50mm f/1.8, Yongnuo's 35mm f/2, Godox AD200 & Nikon kit lens 18 to 55mm lens

Feedback

1stly you need to learn more from other successful photographers / Photographer you admire and you must keep learning from them & keep on shooting, by doing that you will eventually capture a photo that is admired by many, but you don't stop there, you must continue to learn from others and continue to shoot
