Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken just outside of Denali National Park and Preserve in Alaska, off of the George Parks Highway.

Time

It was an early day to make it to Denali from Fairbanks, placing this photo around the early afternoon as we made our way home from the park

Lighting

The colors we so soft and pastel as the day light was just beginning to fade.

Equipment

This was shot on a Nikon D3300 6.3, 1/400, 29/100 focal length and iso 200

Inspiration

I absolutely loved the similarities of the river and road, the curves and the contrast shown from the surrounding mountains!

Editing

I very lightly adjusted the exposures of the sky and land so nothing was overpowering, and the contrast so the photo would pop

In my camera bag

I typically carry my new to me Nikon D750, and a range of lenses to capture a variety of subject
