Location
The Welsh Mountain Zoo, North WalesTime
it was taken in late morning, on a very wet overcast day.Lighting
Nothing special, about the lighting, just a lack of it, as it was very over cast.Equipment
Cannon EOS D70 Camera,, Cannon EFS 55 - 250 LENS. Hand held, no tripod,Inspiration
I just think Flamingos make fantastic photos, with the colour and details in the feathers. And they just seen to stand out this day against the darkened background due to the overcast weather, we were having that day.Editing
I think i did increase the saturation slightly and adjusted the contrast, to darken the background completely. In my camera bag
In my camera bag i carry my cannon EOS D70 Camera, Cannon EFS 18 - 55MM LENS, Cannon EFS 55 - 250 LENS. And my new edition to my bag, my Sigma 105mm 1:2:8 Macro lens for my shots of flowers and close up shots. A small clamp on tripod and a small camera bean bagFeedback
Just wait for the right moment, it can take a while but it can be worth the wait, And take lots of shots. Thats the thing with animals, you have to wait for then, they are not going to pose for you, ha ha ha
