Ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce you to my photo project: Mata Hari - The Temptress.
For over 100 years has been this incredible, scandalous and controversial story of a dancer, stripper, courtesan and spy attracting attention.
In times of covid, I tried to create a series of photos for this story.
Many thanks to the people who agreed to help me bring my ideas to life. I hope that my amateur photos will find their audience.
Brief description to the photos. Events take place in military Europe 1914-1917. Mata Hari is on tour. A young officer who gets to her VIP performance falls in love with her at first sight. By coincidence, the officer is the courier of the General Staff, which attracts spies. Life, love, war and espionage go side by side.
