It was a real privilege watching the Red Backed Shrike hunt with 20ft of me and flying from gource stem to gource stem. I pre-focused on the next stem in its path and fired off a burst of shots and capture it just between the two bushes. The backgrough was a good distance away giving a good separation. Very happy to have photographed my 1st Red Backed Shrike in the UK.
