I took this photo off of i-40 outside of kingman arizona. Its the first time i decided to pose for my picture to add a sense of awe inspiring views of our desert sky.Time
This was sometime after midnight i remember getting the urge to take some pictures of how small we really are in this world. To think that we are underneath this sky every night and not notice how much depth there must really be in this universe. Can someone actually fathom the size of our lives? How special we all must be to exist.Lighting
Definitely had to be dark.Lol. the light on my back was from passersby on i-40.Equipment
I used a nikon d5300 camera a tiny tabletop tripod from walmart and the lights from our universe and passersby from a close freewayInspiration
To show the views of our desert night sky from right outside the small city of kingman arizonaEditing

Practice with different exposures and remember to try to keep your f stop as low as possible. Remember that the longest time you can use before the stars start to leave trails is about 8 seconds
