A dark red moth orchid, Phalaenopsis, with filtered sunlight and the silhouette of an iron window grating outside. The flower in profile shows its true color while the others are backlit and glowing. This was taken in my indoor orchid growing area and while the leaf on the right belongs to this Phalaenopsis flower having a stiff, rubbery texture, the one on the left, underlining the flower stem, belongs to a slipper orchid.
