Behind The Lens

Location

This was Taken in Edinboro Pennsylvania, The lake is so Photogenic. Love my early mornings at the lake.

Time

It was approximately 5:30am. No one awake quite yet except me...lol

Lighting

I wanted to capture the morning sky, after a brief rain the clouds are usually amazing

Equipment

I took this photo with a Canon T7. MY lens was a 18~55 Kit lens, and I shot this handle held and into the rising sun.

Inspiration

This photo was shot as I rolled up onto the first (Kayak) launch and seen the clouds and waiting for the sprinkles to stop and immediately got my shots

Editing

Some Post Processing was done to bring out the clouds a little. I adjusted HSL and Shadows

In my camera bag

I don't have a lot of equipment. I have my Canon T7 and a 18~55 Kit lens and a 70~300 Telephoto Lens. I always carry a set of ND filters and cleaning equipment and cheat sheets, and that all that is in my bag.I also have a Manfretto Tripod.

Feedback

My advice to anyone trying to capture Photos like this is to not do what I did and use a Tripod. I just got lucky with my clarity.
