Location
You can't tell by this picture, but this is an empty lake located in Ivey Georgia. Lake Tchukolaco's dam failed in 2019 and it left everyone around here in shock. I wanted to show everyone to have a little faith in our community while we raise the funds to fix the once beautiful lake that we used to love.Time
Every evening we get out our fishing poles and cast out into the small pockets of water that still remain so we can restock the lake once we finish rebuilding the dam.Lighting
Golden hour is the best time to shoot the lake.Equipment
I actually made a time lapse video using a tripod and an interverlometer.Inspiration
The tight little community that I live inEditing
I used LR time lapse and lightroom to remeove any flickering that occurred while rendering the video.In my camera bag
I always carry a tripod and remote, a star tracker, batteries, external battery, battery powered lights, and a water bottle.Feedback
If you want to catch a good sunset photo, wait until an hour before the sun sets to start shooting;
