Behind The Lens

Location

I captured this photo by Kirkjufell in Grundarfjörð in Iceland

Time

The photo wars taken roughly at midnight, like 11:50pm

Lighting

It was one of the prettiest sunsets I’ve seen by Kirkjufell for sure, the lighting was perfect!

Equipment

I used Canon EOS 1100D, a Tamron 18-400mm lens and had it clipped on a tripod to get the long exposure on the waterfall.

Inspiration

I’ve always wanted to go take a beautiful picture by that mountain and I finally decided that this was the time and I am not upset with the outcome!

Editing

Yes, I lightened the picture slightly, adding more vibrance and saturation to it to give it that spot on look!

In my camera bag

I usually just carry with me my camera and two lenses along with an extra battery and a tripod.

Feedback

Be patient, it’s going to be worth it!
