built in Canada in 1942 by the Canadian car and foundry company .after completion served with the Royal Canadian Airforce . came to uk in the 1990s and restoration started in 2005 and was completed in 2009 .the hurri-bombers as came to be known were armed with a pair of 250lb bombs and later with two 500lb bombs together with a updated armament of twelve browning .303 inch machine guns from the oriiginal eight .after she was restored she was rolled out in her fighter-bomber configuration.
she is now owned by the hanger 11 colection at north weald in Essex uk .
