Como véis en la foto, parte del escenario está iluminado, mientras que otro permanece en penumbra, dándonos la oportunidad de jugar con los contraluces para en una parte del escenario mientras ajustamos las luces en la otra, evitando así que se nos sobrexpongan las figuras de esa parte iluminada. El «reto técnico» que representa la fotografía de conciertos no debería desviar tu atención de algo sin lo cual tus fotos no valdrán de mucho: la composición. Se trata de un componente esencial. Con la composición contamos una historia, transmitimos un sentimiento, una idea, contamos algo, removemos una sensación en quien ve la foto. Es algo que no deberías perder de vista a la hora de retratar un concierto fotográfico: sé creativo, enfócate en elementos secundarios, no sé, encuadra al batería medio aburrido ahí al fondo y conviértelo en la estrella, enfócate en las cuerdas de una guitarra, busca detalles, retrata un momento entre dos espectadores… Al final depende de tus gustos y de la creatividad que le eches. The "technical challenge" of concert photography should not divert your attention from something without which your photos won't be worth much: composition. It is an essential component. With composition we tell a story, we convey a feeling, an idea, we tell something, we stir a feeling in the viewer. This is something you should not lose sight of when photographing a concert: be creative, focus on secondary elements, I don't know, frame the half-bored drummer in the background and make him the star, focus on the strings of a guitar, look for details, portray a moment between two spectators... In the end it depends on your taste and the creativity you put into it.
